So i am 23 weeks today. Im getting big for this far. I can still fit in my skinny jeans but i cant button them. So i am only gaining the weight in the baby and in the boobs.

Baby has been trying to climb out of me and changing positions in the early morning when i wake up to see william off for work. It feels realy weird.

Anyways im doing good. not much pain or anything. i am feeling my hips starting to maneuver around, they hurt a little every once and a while. We still dont know the gender. We both keep having alternate dreams of either boy or girl. So it will be a surprise for sure.

I did take inventory of what we have as far as baby stuff and we need alot. dont have anything for 6-9 months for either gender and nothing for boy after that either. We also need smaller stuff to. We are pretty much good on blankets. Got lots that i have collected and some that have been given to us.

Im still excited to see what it is and how things will come about. Im also worrying if things are gonna be ready in time for the baby. The normal motherly things im sure.

so i am now 22 1/2 weeks now. I have been doing pretty good.

the baby has been starting to push up on my ribs and pinch me from the inside. It feels really weird. The other day i was laying on my side and the baby moved positions but it felt like the baby was sitting up in my stomach against my back then turning towards my pelvic bone.

William felt the baby move one early morning when the baby was hiccuping. He thought it was cool then again this morning we had tummy to tummy and the baby kicked him. the kicks arn't ever very hard so its hard for him to feel but every once an a while he can.

I started him on reading to the baby to so the baby can get used to hearing his voice. Since he is gonna be working lots around when the baby comes and after too.

Another thing is i started to get the stomach acid coming up and swallowing it again. Its kinda gross. Anyways, All is well we are gotting more and more stuff for the baby. WE mostly now need is the big stuff and clothes for either gender or neutral. we mostly have girl stuff from me growing up so if we have a boy we will need lots of stuff.

For those of you who will be around for my baby shower it will be within the first couple weeks after i have the baby, so my mother can go to it too since she is gonna be here when i have the baby for a few days. So if you all need to know what we need or anything to that call me.

so Im halfway there. Its been pretty good so far not much pain or nausea. Feeling the baby move more and more. Still dont know what it is even though i want to find out reallt bad. but i promised william that i wouldnt and to keep it a secret. Still wearing my normal clothes even though i did get some kangaroo pants just because the tops of them are more comfortable than normal pants. I got them a little big just beacause i knew they probably had to last for a while.

I cant eat anything that has a minty taste to it. So like toothpaste and minty gum or mints. Appetite hasnt changed much really either. Yeah im huge and no we arent having twins it was confirned at our ultrasound this week.

Today I went and had the ultrasound that normally happens at 20 weeks. We first had a doctor's visit that ran late. Our doctor had to go deliver a baby right before our appointment. I also had to drink 32 oz of water between 1145 and 1245 then hold it for another 2 hours. I drank the water easily. But by 1 o'clock my bladder was huge and hurting.

When the doctor came in i was in tears it hurt so bad and he told me i had to go relieve some of it so i did, it helped. Then once our appointment was over with the doctor we had to run over to the place where we got the ultrasound and again i had to relieve more cause it hurt so bad and William had to check me in. We waited for about 5 minutes and then went back to the ultrasound room and the tech pressed on my bladder and see if it was full and she told me to go let out more so i did. I came back and she put the device on my abdomen and she couldnt see the baby, my bladder was so full, so she told me to empty it all the way. I was jumping for joy when she said that. It was the best pee i have ever had so far. Then i came back feeling much better.

She was able to find the baby and she showed us the hands and feet and the head and the heart and recorded a DVD. But while she was doing all that she told us that the gender might be on the DVD, i told her not to worry cause we didnt know what we were looking at anyways. So she did her normal stuff after that. the baby kept rolling away from her and turning the opossite direction. she had me on my side and my feet up above my head by the time we were done it was funny. The heart was so cool. All the valves were pumping and you could see it all it was awesome. The baby is also chubby, has big cheeks and big hands and feet. When we first found the profile the baby waved to us and kept rubbing its face with its hands.

So we still dont know the gender of the baby. William covered my eyes and he took of his glasses when she was around that area. But its on the DVD if i want to find out i dont know if i want to. Its tempting but i still want it to be a surprise. When i get a chance maybe ill upload the Dvd and blog it. But i havent decided yet. cause i want to be the first to know.
