Sorry i have been slacking on keeping up on the blog. But spencer is now walking like crazy, and has four teeth. He is getting to be such a big boy. Spencer is in the top 90th percential for his heighth and 75th for his weight. He has thinned out some since he started walking. He's not talking yet.

He is eating anything and everything but also gotten pickier in the last month or so. He is full of smiles all the time and a big momma's boy. Spencer always knows when daddy gets home and has to rush to see him. Its so cute but, there are those days that he just doesnt want daddy more than a minute to say hi then he wants mommy.

I am still breastfeeding him and plan to through the winter since its supposed to be a hard one for the flu and such.

The two pictures of him in the brown oufit were taken of him at greenbluff here in spokane. A friend was nice enough to take these pictures of him. It was a very cold day as well. So i snuggled up with him to keep him warm and me too. He had a taste of one ofthe apples and couldnt put it down and wouldnt let me take it away until he decided to fallover during a picture and land on his head off of a hay bale.

I will get his costume up for you to see as well and his new haircut. His hair was a bit longer than it is in these pictures. It started to curl at the ends and get frizzy so we decided to cut/shave him.

The last picture is of him being caught going into the kitchen to get into the cat food and water. He knows not to go. But we were about to head out the door for church and he saw the baby gate was up so he decided to bolt but i caught him and this is the look he decided to give me. He is a little cutie and even though he gets on my nerves and wants to be held when i dont want to be touched i still love him and enjoy him. I do get frustrated to where i have to put him down and walk into another room but what mother doesnt have to do that? Anyways. More pictures on the way. All is going good and cant wait to enjoy and spoil my little boy for christmas and his birthday.

Where has the time gone? i feel like i just had him yesterday. He has grown and became cuter and more mobile and i cant believe it.

Its been a while since i posted. I just need to get back in the habit. A lot has happened or is happening... Spencer is cutting his first tooth and he is on hte verg of crawling. He can pull himself up to a full stand all by himself. He is more and more curious about food everyday. He wants to have everything i have no matter what it is.

He is getting very mobile. But he stll likes to have mommy hold him ALL the time. Its frustrating when trying to get things done! He knows when dady is coming through the door and he gets excited and watches for him. Then instantly wants to be held by him.

He is becomming a boy now and its so fun to watch him as he grows and learns new things. He plays and scoots and says mama... But i dont think its the real thing, Cause he says it all the time.

He is now wearing 12 month clothing and some 9 month and some 18-24. Depends on the brand of the clothing item.

When we go to lay him down for a nap or for bed he will sit and play if he isnt tired enough. Its cute to watch and sometimes a big pain.

We didnt get a vacation this summer due to having to get new tires on the car. It was a bummer, we had a few opportunities that we could of gotten away but that and other things seemed to get in the way. Hopefully next year we can take a good one. Or maybe later in the year before all the holidays take a short one to visit granny or camp or something.

He is a turd like all boys are. He is an attention hog. What else? His personality keeps developing everyday. Enjoy the pictures. When i have more time ill add more.

Not a whole lot has happened lately. We took spencer to his 6 month check up and he weighed 20lbs. exactly. He got the three shots and didnt cry a whole lot. He is becoming more manly. He has started to get on his hands and knees to crawl but still scoots backwards.

We didnt do anything for the fourth because William had to work and didnt get off of work till the fireworks already started. So Spencer and i chilled at home and played all day.

He is getting so big and smart. He is learning how to put food in his own mouth and he is also Getting introduced to all sorts of solid foods. If i have food he has to have some to no matter what it is. If its something he cant have right away i'll grab a cracker or cheerios for him to eat. I had to recently take out the mobile in his crib because he has learned how to grab it and pll it into his crib. So the only time he gets it is when he is really tired and time for bed.

Thats the latest not a whole lot going on. Still getting settled into the apartment and trying to figure out where things go.

So we have been doing alot more now that it has warmed up alot and nice out. Spencer went to his first birthday party for a couple of girls in our ward who were turning four. He had fun. Wanted to hit the pinata but he is too small but maybe next year.

We also took him swimming for the first time and he loved it (yes that is will holding him and yes he is hairy). Anywho he was kicking and having a blast. He slept well that night too. :-)

We also took him to the park again. But this time will decided he was going to take him down the slide. Spencer didnt have a problem with it or necessarily liked it. He just didnt know what to do.

Spencer is learning to Sit up and roll from his back to his tummy. He actually does that more and loves to do it all the time. He is sitting up really good. He can play and sit up now. The video is of him just palying and hanging out.

I know its been a while since i posted. We have been busy with moving and such. We moved to a bigger apartment so now Spencer has his own room and all his stuff is in there and we now have more room in ours. For the first little while he was waking every couple hours before he got used to his new room. It took about a week and a half. He now sleeps through the night like he normally does.

He is a little busy body now. He always wants to be out and about. Does not like to sit still at all. He is gonna be a little active guy once he gets his feet under him.

The picture you first see... he was laying in the middle of the blanket when i first layed him down. But he has been actually scooting forward to get places. Ack! He will be crawling by the time he is 6 months old.

He now weighs 18lbs. probably more by now. We are gonna have to switch him into a big boy seat soon. He is so cute and he loves to play and see everything like all babies im sure.

In this next picture he is being a lazy player. He actually rolled over twice right after i took the shot. He has been rolling over more and more but it still has days in between when he will do it.

He has learned that he has feet and has been grabbing them and try to put him to his mouth but he is so fat that he cant. He then gets frustrated and fusses. Its so cute and funny.

He also is learning what his binky is for and he can hold it in his mouth all by himself instead of us helping. But he has been better about sucking on it so it wont fall out.

He Still loves his baths and goes crazy during them. He has grown so much and he knows who we are and he is now responding to his name and looking up at you when you stand above him. He is so strong and intelligent.

Sorry it took so long but i hope you enjoyed the pictures. ill try to get pictures of his room when i get done decorating it.

This was his first trip to the park. It was finally warm and sunny monday that we took him to the park to play. He had fun and William walked him around the park in his stroller then rewarded ourselves with a healthy sub sandwich. It was so good.

In the next picture he is sitting in my big chair. It has a good sitting spot in it for him because of it tearing underneath. But before i put him in he was sitting in his bouncy seat then i put him in and he was tranced by this chair and being outside in the sunshine.

The other pictures are some candids and fun little moments throughout the last couple weeks.

He is getting so big. Gonna have to put him into 3's for diapers so soon and he is only 3 1/2 months. He is wearing about 3-6 month clothes and some 6-9 depending on the brand.

He loves his bath. I put him in and he gives the biggest smile ever and starts kicking and splashing. He also pushes off the end of it.

Spencer has rolled over a couple more times. He also is grabbing objects now and standing with help. He loves it. He gets so excited about nothing and talks so much. He has grown so much since he was born. We have been playing with his schedule lately and think we got it figured out. He has been sleeping through most the night. Maybe wakes up once in the middle of the night and then when william gets up for work. Which is fine because im up as well. He likes to say goodbye to daddy too.

The sleepy pictures are priceless. Spencer fell asleep when william was holding him. He likes his daddy. Then in the swing while he was playing.

We got our crib finally. Will's dad finished it and brought it over to us last night. Spencer was so easy to put down in it. Usually we have to wait till he is dead asleep to lay him in bed but it we were able to let him stir and he fell right to sleep. He didnt sleep through the night. But that has been off and on lately for some reason. We think he may be teething cause he is drooling a lot more and is stuffy a lot and at time cries uncontrollably.
Otherwise he is doing great. He rolled over for us for the first time. We layed him on his tummy and will did a little coaxing and he rolled over and hasn't done it since. He also is giggling more and more now. Now and then its a little harder to get him to do it (like when company is around). He has so much energy and is so much fun. Its hard to believe that three months ago he was so little.

We have been looking into moving into a two bedroom in the next couple months. We are so crammed into our little one bedroom it will be so nice. Especially since Spencer will be becoming more mobile we will need it.

He is now 16 pounds and getting longer by the day. He is surely going to be playing football when he gets older. He is gonna be big and muscles like his daddy and grandpa.

Spencer has little bumps allover his skin. It seems like its dry skin. But it doesn't go away when i put lotion on him just makes it better. I dont know what it is and doctor didn't say much. Is it baby acne or something else.

this video is hilarious he had just soiled his diaper and we put him up on the changing table and he just goes crazy kicking and talking. He does this most of the time when we go to change his diaper but there are a few times that he just cries hysterically.

Spencer has gone back to his thumb sucking again. He did it when he was first born and didn't do it again till the other day. Its cute. He wakes up during the night and puts himself back to sleep by sucking his thumb.
His smile is growing everyday. Its so cute. A little ha still here and there but no giggles yet. SO cute he is growing so big.
I got one of those sling things. It is nice and comfortable. As long as you wear it right your back doesn't hurt. Its nice for when walking for a long time or cleaning. It always rocks him to sleep.

He is growing like crazy he is now 15lbs and happy. It amazes me of how much he has grown and learned how to do things since he was born. He is so cute. We have been playing around with his schedule. For some reason he starts to scream at about 6pm but he is sleeping through the night and has like 4 or 5 naps during the day. Its weird he just started doing this so we are trying to play around with him and figure out what needs to be done. Also he has started getting some cradle cap but he still has all his hair. If anyone has any ideas im open for them.

I was so happy that she got him to smile in these pictures. There are a couple he isnt sure what he wants to do. but this is cute. He is such a chub.

In this one he is sitting in what they call a baby saddle. He was slipping around everywhere with the satin and velvet.

The lady had to prop him up for this picture and grab a can full of beans to make him perk. Then William had to hold his side so he wouldn't fall over. I love this picture its my favorite.

Its so fun being a mom and looking at the pictures and seeing how far he has come from the day he was born. I love seeing a smiling face everyday. He giggles once and a while but its just a Ha! instead of a hehehehe! but its still cute and its always when we are not paying attention. I cant wait to see what is to come of Spencer. who he is gonna look like. What his personality is gonna be etc.

We went to our WIC appointment this week and they were so excited at how big he is getting. He was 13lbs 10oz. and 23 1/2 inches long. Shows you how much he really has grown. He now wears 6-9 month clothes. He skipped the 3-6 month clothing. But certain clothes he can still wear the 0-3 month stuff but others it has to be the 6-9 months.

Good job to granny on the blessing outfit she made it to fit a 3 month baby and he fits it perfectly still today. If you look at the picture of him on his tummy he has coat tails. The outfit is so cute.

Im having a hard time letting somone else watch spencer. I just dont want to let him go yet. And its harder since im breastfeeding too. its sucha pain to pump off a couple bottles since the only ime i have extra milk is at night. I have to pump off for the two nights before to prep for only a couple hours.... such a pain. Im also having a hard time choosing who i want to watch him. His has to be someone that i really trust and have known for a while.

Valentines Day!

So for valentines day we went out on a triple date with a couple friends of ours and our new babies. We went to chili's for lunch then we went over and went bowling. Spencer slept until we went bowling it was insane cause he fell asleep at 11:30 and didnt wake up till 3. He never does that during the day unless we are out and about so i had to wake him aup and feed him. The other couple we went with have a little girl and she is so cute. But she is like 4 months and the same size as spencer... he is a chunk. they both started out watching up bowl then they decided they wanted to sleep so we have a picture of them "sleeping together." there was some serious bowling coming from them. hehe! We had fun. We then went to dinner at Rancho Chico's and theyboth decided they wanted to soil their diapers. but their bathrooms there are one stall and they dont have a changing station so we layed them on the bench at the table and changed them, good thing we were in the corner. The waiters loved having the kids there. They kept coming by and smiling at them and touching them is was so hilarious. After dinner we decided to go home because the kids were getting ready and deciding they wanted to sleep. It was a fun triple date for us. I think we are gonna to get the kids to hang out more often.

Spencer is 7 weeks old this weekend. This last weekend we had him blessed. We had family come from southern idaho to visit. It was so nice to see them. We had Great granny, Great Aunt Julie, Great Uncle Doug, Granny, Grandpa Shuldberg, Grandpa Dave, Uncle Roy and his Girlfriend, Uncle Douglas, Aunt Shielah, Ben, Christopher, Evan, and Alexis. We had Grandma and grandpa Weyen come to our ward for the blessing and Grandpa and grandma Bouvier too. The night before we went out to old country buffet with the solomon side of the family and all were excited to see spencer. They could not leave him alone. But it was nice to see them all. Spencer got tired and fell asleep during dinner. Great uncle doug made a changing table for us and had uncle Roy and Grandpa shuldberg bring it with them in their truck. The changing table is very nice and is made out of oak. Uncle doug says it will be the only one too because it was so hard to build. A couple days before he was bringing it out of the shop and slipped and fell on some ice and broke one of the legs. He had to spend the next couple days fixing it.

Sunday morning we all met at the church and spencer was blessed by William. The blessing was short but sweet. Alot of good things were said and cant wait for spencer to grow and see what comes of it.

This weekend was fun but very tiring. I didnt realize how much it would affect me emotionally afterwards. I spend the next couple days after that very down on myself. It was hard to pick myself back up but i had to do it for myself and for spancer and william. Especially for spencer because im so afraid to hurt him out of anger or depression. I think most the reason why i was like this was because of my inlaws. The same old thing for those who know the situation there. I almost acted out to my mother in law in the middle of the church in front of tons of people but i bit my tongue and walked away. It was hard because i wanted my baby and she was holding him. Im glad i didnt do anything irrational for the sake of william and spencer, But lets say this i almost said goodbye to her forever... sad i know but she deserves it. I dont need to be treated like crap from her and i dont want to put up with it.
I had to take a deep breath and think.

Anywho, Spencer is now smiling alot. Everyone was telling me all weekend how he was smiling at them. I love it! i was able to capture a picture of him smiling. I know its fuzzy but he was moving my hand when i took it. We think now he many be starting to giggle a little too. Its so cute i cant believe how much he has grown in the last few weeks. He is now up tp 13 pounds 6 ounces as of tuesday. I cant help to think how perfect and innocent he is and once he gets old enough its all gonna change in a flash. He is starting to get his own little personality. I love too see william with him. especially when they are playing together. i cant help to stop what im doing just to watch it so cute and sweet at the same time. How william so big and manly coming down and playing in a innocent sweet way. Its lots of fun especially when he makes funny voices and sounds and spencer just watches him or smiles back. i want to cry everytime.

I went to the doctor yesterday and got the ok for being healed. Im still quite tender for sme reason. Its hard on me because i want to satisfy my husband but i cant because my body isnt fully recovered yet.

1 month old!

So Spencer is now a month old. He is lifting his head really well now, He also is starting to be awake more often now. He also smiled at me this morning. He was latching and unlatching and kept doing this and i called him a turd and he smiled at me it was so cute. He is a good baby. He only cries when he needs to be fed really. Except when he is really really tired too. His schedule is starting to get more regular. He takes a couple naps during the day and is awake for an hour or so in between. He has soooo much gas we have to help him get rid of it. Also we found out the hard way that he may be allergic to desitin. When i put it on him his rash gets worse. So we have set to using powder. He wakes up about every 2 1/2 -3 hours at night to eat. It took like 3 full weeks for his umbilicle cord to fall off. Spencer now weighs probably about 11lbs or so. We had him weighed on monday when the maternity nurse came and he was 10 lbs 10 oz. So he is prolly well over 11lbs. He is filling out nicely and getting cuter everyday.

It has been a roller coaster ride for the last month. When i dont get enough sleep i get depressed and frustrated easy so i have to make sure i sleep more. There were a couple nights where i was awake for most of the night because Spencer was being grumpy. But all in all its been a fun experience and wouldnt trade it for anything. Its still hard to believe im a mom and i have to raise this child forever and be responsible for it.
